The Context
They planned a 365-day challenge: each participant must run at least 1km daily. Manual tracking would collapse immediately (screenshots, spreadsheets, disputes).
They needed a system before Jan 1.

Strava API approval was difficult and time-sensitive. We navigated the process and still shipped exactly in time for the Jan 1 launch.
